I’m excited and grateful to be invited as a mentor to the Hogtown Hang during Canadian Music Week 2015!
Presented by NewCanadianMusic.ca, CFC Media Lab, MEDIAZOIC and WANTED! Sound + Picture, the Hogtown Hang is a one-day hangout for unsigned musicians, in one of Toronto’s coolest studios.
Andreas Kalogiannides and fellow sports & entertainment lawyer Layth Gafoor will be speaking to grade 7/8’s at Lord Dufferin Junior and Senior Public School as part of the Ontario Justice Education Network’s “Everyday Law” program. The program offers students a chance to hear the experiences of lawyers working in their community, and to discuss how our legal systems intersects with their own lives.
As members of the Cabbagetown community, we are big believers in initiatives which focus on strengthening the educational, economic and social fabric right here at home, and we are grateful for the invitation to participate in this program.
Andreas will be speaking on a panel at the 2015 Manifesto Mentorship Series, entitled “Law and Order: Know Everything About Contracts to Travel Insurance.” The panel, offered by Manifesto Community Projects in conjunction with FACTOR, will be hosted at our good friends’ place Coalition Music.
